NAMI Maine Hours Of Auction Jewelry Art

Augusta - Maine Nami, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, producing its first annual auction whimsical art, jewelry and collectibles held at the Senator Inn den 26 September 5 to 8 hours

The event will recognize Julie Ann O'Brien, a former legislator, chairman of Nami Maine, the developer community, and founder and CEO of Children's Discovery Museum in Augusta.

The event is to raise funds and awareness for Nami Maine, a field, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people affected by mental illness. Services are provided both directly and through a structure of partners across the state and local support groups.

Nami Maine provides support social / emotional, proponents of a higher quality of services, and educates, informs and provides resources. Nami Maine also trains volunteers and professionals, and promotes a network of subsidiaries and statewide support groups.

Appetizers, desserts, cash bar and a variety of art, collectibles and jewelry donated by some of the most prestigious artists and artisans of the state of Maine is offered in the auction.
